Cassina Presents Gaetano Pesce's Privacy Screen

This week in Milan, Gaetano Pesce has presented a colourful and playful privacy screen for the Cassina brand. It looks like the New York skyline at sunset. This complex screen sports a kaleidoscope of colours, and it was named Sunset.
Light shining through vibrant nuances in partially transparent polyurethane resin creates a peek-a-boo effect in a three-dimensional shape: it’s an authentic work of art to place in any room.

Pesce studied the colours of New York’s sunset with maniacal interest; then he mixed specific quantities of pigments to get the right intensity. Each piece is unique and different from all the others.

The three panels are joined with burnished brass hinges to add a touch of New York industrialism, and each screen has a plate bearing its production number and the artist’s signature.
