Belt Lamp by Flos Among the Stars at Compasso d'Oro XXVII

This past summer, the Premio Compasso d’Oro 2022 has recognised all of the solutions that can make even the smallest rooms in our homes complete and flexible. High functionality, personality, and durability are the three values that set the prize winners a notch above the competition. Among these, we want to focus on the Belt lamp by Flos, a line of light - like a strip of leather (that’s where the name comes from) - featuring LED sources in different, interesting versions. Just a few centimetres long, its small minimal form is an excellent solution for lighting up different rooms with bright light.

As usual, the award was also assigned to design icons. This XXVII edition assigned a “Product Career Award” to the Up Series chair by Gaetano Pesce, created for B&B Italia in 1969 and reissued several times.
