Grand Opening of the New Porro London Point - The Coal Project

Last week, during the London Design Festival, Porro opened a new store where the brand will be presenting its collections. The new store is located in the area of King’s Cross, on the north side.

This new project has been placed in a majestic brick building along Regent Canal. The headquarters of designer Tom Dixon are also located in this part of the city. It’s in line with an ongoing urban regeneration project, a significant plan for the area near Central Saint Martin’s, which is a haven for future talents.

The exhibition space is also a place for consulting services designed to help people create tailor-made projects to release their own creativity and know-how. The new location will include icons like the Load-it bookcase system designed by Wolfgang Tolk in 1995, with its protruding shelves that cut into the space in front of it. At the entrance, the Lullaby armchair designed by Nicola Gallizia welcomes shoppers, along with the Offshore chest of drawers by Piero Lissoni with its painted ash wood exterior.
