Contardi and Babu Textile Lamps

Designer Massimiliano Raggi is presenting the Babu Textile lamps in Small, Medium and Large versions.

Babu is a striking outdoor collection in steel with a champagne effect lacquer finish and a marine grade cataphoresis treatment.

Created to surprise onlookers with their luminous shapes, these lamps were built using the innovative technology of 3D printing on fabric for outdoor use, which gives them depth and creates interesting optical effects. They come in two different weaves: Babu Textile with velvet trim for outdoors, in orange, marine blue, and mustard yellow; and Babu Tribal with overlapping geometric designs.

The steel base has an electro-coated finish that gives it resistance against corrosion making it suitable even for use on ships in the open sea.
