Cassina and One Block Down Installation to Launch Zig Zag

As usual, Cassina is committed to promoting the work of the designers and architects of its own collections, which is why the company has therefore developed extraordinary cross-cultural collaborations. After the first part of their partnership revealed in 2022, Cassina and One Block Down are collaborating again on the launch of the new limited edition of the iconic Zig Zag chair by Gerrit T. Rietveld. This version comes in three colours, connected intrinsically to the designer’s work and the De Stijl artistic movement: red, yellow, blue.

The new edition of Zig Zag combines two opposite materials: wood and aluminium saturated with red, yellow or blue, which allows the light to play on its surfaces to produce a lovely visual effect.

To celebrate this limited edition, One Block Down has created a special campaign through an installation at the Scarioni Pool, one of the most iconic public swimming pools in Milan, that is unfortunately not in use.

The chair will be available online on One Block Down starting at 9 am on 24 February.
