Introducing Bao Sofa by Bjarke Ingels for Natuzzi

Natuzzi and Bjarke Ingels worked together to create a modular system of soft seats called Bao, which will be showcased during the upcoming Milano Design Week 2023.

The new sofa is inspired by the soft, welcoming style of the first Natuzzi sofas. It combines contrasting materials and rounded shapes to create a solid, versatile composition. The modular system includes an armchair piece, with a two- or three-seat version, and various corner pieces that make it possible to create personalized lounge spaces.

The Bao collection focuses on softness and the completeness of the design. Its seat and backrest cushions adapt perfectly to the sofa’s internal structure. This collaboration between Natuzzi and Bjarke Ingels is the starting point of a unique collection of sofas that combines traditional and contemporary style in an unequalled experience of comfort.
