Shibusa: the New Cabinet by Giorgetti

One of the most striking pieces in latest Giorgetti collection is the elegant new Shibusa display cabinet, with its curved doors in smoky glass. Four different versions are available. The project’s designer is Mauro Lipparini, whose minimalist style is appreciated around the world. He has won many prestigious awards, including the Elle Decoration China Interior Design Annual Award in 2020 and an Architizer A+ Jury Award.

Shibusa is a series of cabinets with metal bases and side compartments with ash wood shelves in the different finishes. The cabinet was inspired by the movements and gestures that go into creating harmonious Asian ideograms. It represents a small, carefully designed stage rich in details and able to suggest personal emotions.

The elements that Lipparini used to make this piece include sophisticated organic patterns and original visual ideas that amplify its minimalism and create a sense of wellbeing and pleasant aesthetics.
