Lisa by Ceccotti Collezioni: A Tribute to the History of Design

Ceccotti Collezioni is presenting Lisa, an armchair designed by DRAW Studio. It’s a modern version of the historic Superleggera by Gio Ponti, one of the most famous Italian designers. The armchair Lisa was named after the designer’s daughter, Lisa Licitra Ponti, who was well-known for her delicate style and natural elegance. These qualities are reflected in the refined lines of the armchair.

Lisa’s structure features innovative architecture. The two sides are made from a single panel of walnut or ash wood, and the design is symmetrical and minimal. The armrest is quite distinctive, extending with a wide and welcoming shape to create a rigorous, sophisticated look. The seat can be upholstered either in fabric or Poltrona Frau leather.

The Lisa lounge version expands the original concept with a larger armrest for superior comfort, but still retaining the lightness and purity of the original design.
