Parka: New Modular Sofa by Poltrona Frau

The Poltrona Frau Parka sofa collection stands out because it’s made up of many modules, including concave or convex armchairs with or without armrests - or with an armrest on one side! There’s also a maxi version, with a choice of right or left armrests.

Designed by Draga & Aurel, the Parka collection was inspired by an iconic piece of 90s streetwear that has become a symbol of grunge culture. Like its outerwear namesake, the Parka seating system is soft, versatile and goes with everything, while maintaining a strong personality.

The flowing lines and padding that reaches down to the floor provide comfort, and the elliptically shaped backrest seamlessly transforms into an armrest and seat to creates a cosy, versatile space.

The upholstery is available entirely in Pelle Frau® leather, in the variants shown in the catalogue, or in a combination of leather and fabric. In this second option, leather covers the outer structure, while the fabric covers the seats, backrest, and armrests. The tone-on-tone stitching conveys a sense of overall sobriety.
