Light and Timeless Design: Cassina Style

The Cassina lighting collection is a tribute to the art of blending aesthetics and technology. One iconic example is Galaxy, the pendant lamp designed in 1949 by Charles and Ray Eames. Designed with components from the automotive industry, this unique creation generates a exciting explosion of light. Galaxy was first presented during the exhibition “An Exhibition for Modern Living” at the Detroit Institute of Arts, but was never produced at the time due to technological limitations. Today, thanks to Cassina's research, this masterpiece has been reintroduced.
