Bredaquaranta in Shanghai: a New Hub for Italian Design
The new Bredaquaranta Design Studio was founded for the purpose of blending the contemporary style of the Chinese metropolis with the timeless elegance of Italian design. The company is a reference point in the high-end furniture sector, and it is opening a new location in Shanghai in the heart of Wulumuqi South Road.
This store provides privileged access to the best "Made in Italy" furniture. It covers three floors and was designed to be an experiential story in which art and furniture dialogue in perfect harmony.
Neutral colours and the textures of different materials are featured on the first floor, enhanced by the wooden sculptures of Xiao Changzheng and the abstract paintings of Liu Zhengyong.
The second floor hosts a meeting room and a Cigar Room inspired by Italian art from the 60s and 70s, with spaces defined by intense sophisticated colours.
On the third floor, the Art Bar becomes a meeting point for designers and creatives, and a chromatic tribute to Carsten Höller.
The Zhang Tingli curated the works while the local team, led by Haihan Zhang and Wang Qinghua, offers an exclusive service for private and contract clients.
