4 New Collections of Venetian Crystal Vases by Barovier&Toso

Barovier&Toso has presented four new collections of vases in Venetian Crystal that demonstrate the excellence of their craftsmanship. The Yoroi, Dune, Palatino, and Posidonia collections, developed by the in-house style office, celebrate glassmaking tradition and the search for aesthetic perfection.

Yoroi fuses the design of ancient Greek ceramics and samurai armour to create a unique texture that captures and reflects light. It’s an interesting contrast between tradition and modernity.

The Dune collection recalls the movement of sand dunes. The curves of these vases were obtained by overlapping layers of Venetian crystal to evoke the natural beauty of the landscape.

Palatino is a tribute to Roman mosaics and the ancient floors discovered on Palatine Hill. Combining the tile design of mosaics with the murrine technique succeeds in uniting past and present.

The last collection, Posidonia recreates the fluid movement of seaweed. Each of these unique vases conveys the elegance of the underwater world by using layers of glass to obtain depth.
