In the heart of Shanghai stands a 250 sqm private residence designed by Baxter Shanghai in collaboration with Shui On Land.

Riverville Garden Villa embodies a refined dialogue between East and West, blending international influences with contemporary taste in a balanced, enduring harmony.

The project moves beyond the rigidity of typical urban townhouses, introducing a more dynamic architectural language: generous interiors, fluid layouts and an evolved concept of living. Each space has been carefully conceived to create visual continuity, through calibrated proportions, selected materials and welcoming atmospheres.

In the study, the iconic Lazybones armchair by Baxter marks a more intimate area dedicated to focus, while the home office finds its character in the Colette executive armchair, a synthesis of ergonomics and formal refinement. The living area unfolds into a single convivial space where the Aura sofa becomes the focal point, framed by the OLAF armchair and the dining table with Gemma chairs in their essential, pared-back form.

In a more intimate setting, the Pillow sofa creates a domestic retreat designed for relaxation. Riverville thus presents a contemporary model of living, transcending cultural boundaries and transforming design into a shared expression of comfort and identity.
