The Cassina Perspective 2026: A New Outdoor Vision

Cassina’s 2026 collection takes shape as a multifaceted and cross-disciplinary project, interpreting contemporary design through the lens of a strong material sensibility. The concept stages a dialogue between different languages, where research, experimentation and design heritage converge into a coherent and sophisticated narrative.

Among the highlights are the sofa system designed by Patricia Urquiola, alongside contributions from Chiara Andreatti, Formafantasma, Gaetano Pesce and Philippe Starck. These are complemented by the Karakter x Cassina models, featuring renowned names such as Aldo Bakker, Gianfranco Frattini, Verner Panton and Nicos Zographos. A new lighting collection, with designs by Charles & Ray Eames, Angelo Mangiarotti, Neri&Hu and Linde Freya Tangelder, completes the range.

The 2026 outdoor collection redefines exterior spaces as a natural extension of the home. Seating stands out for its generous proportions, colour palettes inspired by the landscape, and a carefully balanced blend of comfort and formal rigour. Outdoor dining areas prioritise versatility and conviviality, with solutions conceived for informal yet refined settings. Notable pieces include the Eloro Outdoor sofa by Dordoni, which reinterprets a classic piece with a contemporary approach, and the Dalila armchair by Gaetano Pesce, reintroduced in an outdoor version that enhances its sculptural and experimental character. A wide range of lamps and accessories completes the collection, helping to create cohesive, harmonious and functional outdoor environments.
