The Moon Pendant Light by Davide Groppi

This week, we take a look at the iconic MOON by Davide Groppi, part of a collection of suspension lamps that interprets light through an essential and delicate aesthetic. The project was born from the desire to bring the poetry and evocative beauty of the moon into domestic spaces, transforming it into a discreet and artistic luminous presence.

The diffuser is made from polypropylene and artisanally covered with Unryu Kozo Japanese paper, making each piece unique thanks to the distinctive characteristics of the handmade process. The result is a lightweight, tactile surface that diffuses light softly and evenly.

The collection includes different models and sizes, making it suitable for both residential and contract settings. MOON 60 DE, in particular, offers a dual light emission that is ideal for reception and entertaining areas, thanks to its ceiling rose made from matt white painted steel.

Designed to be used in combination with other elements from the series, MOON makes it possible to create striking installations without compromising on simplicity. Also available in table and floor versions, it requires an E27 LED bulb. A design in which simple materials, craftsmanship and contemporary design come together to transform light into atmosphere.
