From 14 to 20 January, during IMM Cologne 2019, the Agape brand had set up a personal stand at the Cologne Design Post.
Along with new product from the catalogue, the stand featured a presentation of the Immersion bath products from designers Neri&Hu, which won the EDIDA award.
We would like to focus on the last piece introduced to this collection: the Immersion washbasin.
It was designed to complement the bathtub by the same name, and was inspired by the traditional wooden tubs used in Japan and China, a style that perfectly reflects that of the designers.
The basin in matt white biobased Cristalplant® has a thin edge with a linear, geometric external profile that is deliberately in contrast to the inside of the basin, which instead has a soft, curved shape.
Like the bath, the sink has a reduced surface area designed to be suitable for installation in the smaller spaces of contemporary homes.
Along with new products from Agape, IMM Cologne also featured timeless proposals from the Mangiarotti Collection by Agapecasa.
As far as outcomes are concerned, the fair was a great success. The Agape brand was able to increase its international visibility because the big Cologne trade fair is one of the most significant events in the design sector.
