Alexandria: the Chandeliers by Barovier&Toso

Barovier&Toso makes a range of contemporary chandeliers called Alexandria that includes four variants, each with an unusually contained height, which varies from 46 cm for the smallest to a maximum of 70 cm.

These models were designed to add character to smaller rooms and rooms with reduced ceiling heights, both of which are unsuitable for conventional chandeliers, but in locations where the luxury and refined elegance of fine glass and pleated fabric lamp shades is desired.

The whole collection can be refinished in different colours of Venetian crystal glass, while the metal structures are available in black chrome or galvanized gold.

The collection also includes the Alexandria wall sconce, recognizable by its delicate modern design, with clean lines and two light sources covered by pleated fabric lampshades. This brand’s history spans more than half a millennium. Founded in 1295, it has seen seven centuries of evolution, from minimalist styles to the most extravagant baroque, always in desperate pursuit of new ideas throughout the unstoppable course of time.
