Shibari and Duncan by Visionnaire, Winners of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2023

Visionnaire is the centre of attention this year since two products from its latest 2023 collection have won the prestigious Archiproducts Design Awards 2023.
The SHIBARI armchair and the DUNCAN kitchen enthralled the jury with their concept and design. A special jury dedicated to eco-design and sustainability decided to give the award to SHIBARI, designed by Studiopepe. A green chair upholstered in elastic material with curved tubular metal frames for the front and back legs that cross on the back to form a love knot. The frames are completely covered in high density polyurethane and upholstered with a selection of elasticized fabrics. The seat, with bands and polyurethane foam padding, is totally green.

The other winner is the DUNCAN KITCHEN, the new hidden kitchen designed by Alessandro La Spada, which was designed as if it were a treasure chest. The sliding wall is made of metal tiles with an antiqued glossy finish, arranged in an elaborate geometric pattern like a frieze, that hides the functional kitchen inside its decoration.
