Ren means “person, human being” in Chinese. The gracious and light structure of the Ren bookcase, designed by Neri & Hu for brand Poltrona Frau, expresses a similar concept with refined elegance.

The architecture of the bookcase, characterised by oblique columns, clearly derives from an architectural vision that has its roots in the Far East and it is made of precious materials typical of the Poltrona Frau production.

The shelves, in birch plywood, are veneered on the sides and upholstered in saddle leather. The top of Ren is fixed to the wall with metal hooks.

Ren is available in two versions, one high and one low. They differ not only for the number of shelves, but also for height and width.
