Hakuna Matata Baxter

The Hakuna Matata Outdoor Chair, designed by Roberto Lazzeroni, is a striking example of the Italian designer's uncanny ability to strike the ideal balance between artistic expression and the interests of the individual.

The chair's frame is crafted from solid Iroko that has been naturally sandblasted. The seat's shape is gently creased to conform to the body's pressure distribution while seated. The base of the chair is made up of two hardwood tops set at right angles to the seat's longitudinal axis, and the seat itself is tilted ever-so-slightly outward.

Wood will always be a material subject to transformation as a result of exposure to light and other environmental variables. Any irregularities in the wood's hue or grain pattern should be viewed as proof of the item's one-of-a-kind quality and authenticity.
