Franco Albini's Veliero bookcase for Cassina is a prime example of his pursuit of ageless, dynamic elegance in his furniture design.
This distinctive design supplement is distinguished by the formal organization of its lines and volumes, which is one of its defining characteristics. The bookcase's versatility is ensured by its double-sided structure, which transforms the diagonals into support elements and accentuates in detail the constructive and structural features of the furnishing accessory. This allows the bookcase to be used in a wide variety of settings. Wall-mounted or freestanding, the bookcase can be enjoyed in either configuration. Stainless steel is used for the inwardly curving diagonals and glass for the shelves. Fibreboard was used to construct the base panel. Glass and steel rods are used in the construction of the tie rods.
The design of the Veliero bookshelf is effortlessly distinctive owing to its sophisticated appearance and adaptability.
