The Lemni armchair is a creation by the designer Marco Lavit for Living Divani.
The wooden structure was conceived as a continuous gesture. The curve from which the armchair takes its shape develops like an infinity symbol. The line becomes a three-dimensional volume, which is ergonomically perfect for supporting the leather band which completes the design. The roll-shaped backrest is the only padded element of the seat, and it is also conceived as a simple solid volume.
The steel rod and the circles are bent and they rotate 90° on themselves until a complete shape is defined. The ends of the leather band are placed inside the steel structure thanks to small slits. The leather band appears to be floating in the air and it is ready to welcome the human body.
Art and design merge into a unique item, suitable for both contract and residential spaces. Visual and formal lightness characterise the Lemni armchair with distinctive authenticity.
