Agathos Maxalto

The Agathos armchair, designed by Antonio Citterio for Maxalto, has a classic look, thanks to its sophisticated, enveloping shape.

The Agathos armchair is available in fixed or swivel configurations, with leather or fabric upholstery. In the variant of the armchair that has a fixed base, the support legs can either be made of solid wood or steel and can have a finish.
The armchair with a swivel base comes with a high or low backrest and is upholstered in fabric. The latter gently tumbles to hide the underlying steel or aluminium.

The chair's ergonomic design follows the shape of the user's body for optimum ease and relaxation. A debate that blends creative and living dimensions in favour of a dynamic synergy of daily living brings about a resolution to the harmonic balance that previously existed between the many elements.
