Intermezzo Paola Lenti

The Intermezzo bookcase, designed by Francesco Rota for the Paola Lenti collection, is the result of a dynamic compositional richness.

The honeycomb aluminum shelves define a strong horizontality, intermittently interrupted by panels in copper decorated with geometric or abstract patterns. These panels create a regular and rhythmic division of space. The steel and aluminum structure frames the hand-enameled panels in the color palette by Alessandra Malfatti. The handmade technique of the panels' creation makes each piece unique and exclusive in its reproducibility.

The presence of frontal panels enhances the interplay of solids and voids, transforming the archetype of the bookcase into a prominent element of the living space, capable of coexisting harmoniously with everyday living accessories.
