Annibale Colombo
Annibale Colombo Dealer – Milan - Italy
Annibale Colombo started his career in 1812 in Brianza, thanks to a small workshop founded by Filippo Colombo that specialised in producing artistic furniture inspired by 18th century French style for the homes of the wealthy Milanese “borghesia” at the time.
At the end the 1900s, the company’s headquarters were transferred to a new location, a modern and completely technological building in Novedrate. The building houses advanced production lines and areas dedicated to manual artisan processes, appreciated worldwide for their particular style and elegance.
With over two centuries of history, Annibale Colombo is a reference point in the classic style luxury furniture market, and a storehouse of experience and knowledge of inestimable value that gives them the capacity to create unique pieces of furniture.
Their choice of materials is the first tier of their success. Maple, peltogyne, boxwood, and ebony are a few of the types of wood that they use to make fine handmade intarsia and carvings which expert artisans smooth and polish to apply as decorations to authentic works of art. Tables, chairs, sofas, sideboards and beds all share the same classic lines inspired by French tradition.
The company is now an authoritative reference point in the furnishings market, known mainly for its customised pieces that outfit the Kulm Hotel and the Grand Hotel Kronenhof in Saint Moritz, the Hotel Ares Eiffel in Paris, the Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio and the Piccolo Teatro Grassi in Milan.
