Modenese Gastone has been working with wood for seven generations, initially making tools and work equipment and later producing furniture.
Today, the company has become a leader in the design and production of indoor furniture made of natural materials and built using traditional techniques.
After the fall of the Berlin wall, the company expanded beyond European borders and opened its first showroom in Moscow in 2012.
Today, it has morphed into a team of dynamic young talents and has further expanded its borders by collaborating with designers from Asia, Africa and the Americas, affirming its leadership in the Italian luxury furniture sector.
They use only fine woods such as cherry, walnut, oak and ash for their pieces. The entire carving phase is done manually with traditional tools by expert carpenters. Exquisite Intarsio patterns are used to further enhance their products, mainly on tables and console fronts but also on other parts of furniture. They also apply gold, silver and bronze leaf decorations.
During the next decoration phase, a team of artists who graduated from the Fine Arts Academy of Venice, hand paint the furnishings to satisfy the client's personal requests.
