B&B Italia in China with the Gaetano Pesce Exhibition

B&B Italia has come to China to sponsor the first exhibition featuring Gaetano Pesce: “Nobody’s Perfect” held at the Sea World Culture and Arts Center in Shenzhen.

A collection of 100 iconic works by the designer are on display, and one of these is the original wooden model of the UP5_6 armchair, created for B&B Italia in 1969.

The exhibition is designed to inform Asia about the work of Gaetano Pesce, a pioneer in the design sector who created many unique pieces with a playful and elegant style.

An extra-large sculpture of the legendary armchair “Big Mama” has also been placed in the museum. Don’t forget that a junior version of this armchair is also available from B&B. It was designed for children three years old and older, and it is a perfect copy of the original but with reduced dimensions.

After Shenzhen, the exhibition will be transferred to the Today Art Museum in Beijing where it can be admired until June 2022.
