Babou - Paolo Castelli's seating from the "Alla Sera" collection

The new 2023 “Alla sera” collection by Paolo Castelli was devised from the desire to harmonise specific sensations, generating a romantic landscape that evokes the atmosphere created by a sunset.

The Babou lounge chair is unique in its design and structure - an elegant feature that contours the headrest, supporting the cushion, inspired by the art of the surrealist painter Salvador Dalì. The Babou seating series mixes rational and irrational elements creating contrasts between minimalism and figurative exuberance.

It features a tubular steel frame covered in leather suitable for outdoor use. The seat has a multilayer frame, completely upholstered in ecological polyurethane which uses low CO2 emission processes. The seating is covered with water-repellent polyester fibre fabrics making it suitable for outdoor use. The cover is available in different colours.

The collection includes a modular system and an ottoman creating a composition that meets all aesthetic and space requirements.
