The New Pratfall by Driade

This year, Driade is reissuing a famous lounge chair designed by Philippe Starck in 1984, The piece belongs to the iconic Costes series, which gives it unmistakable characteristics: a wrap-around shell in wood and three strongly slanted legs.

Along with being made of the same materials and upholstery as the rest of the Costes pieces, Pratfall is offered once again in a wide range of new combinations and coordinated pairings of different curved plywood shells and leather upholstery. Philippe Starck, a world-famous creator with incredibly innovative intuition, always focuses on the essential. His values are clearly evident in this armchair with a strong personality. Its comfortable seat and wrap-around backrest make it suitable for the most elegant rooms in a home or hotel.

The tubular steel armchair structure is finished in anthracite grey polyester powder coating with mica, and the shell is in curved plywood with a mahogany finish. The seat cushion in multi-density polyurethane foam padding covered with black leather completes the piece.
