Self Control: Sofa with Chaise Longue by Arketipo
Self Control is a sofa designed by Ludovica + Roberto Palomba for Arketipo that fully expresses their intent to engage each component in the range. They wanted to explore the confines between aesthetics and usefulness through refined and sophisticated details.
Curves, relaxation and complexity are concepts associated with the serpentine shapes of the sofa, fashioned with understated elegance and careful control of the aesthetic and practical aspects. This approach accentuates the design of the piece as a single object. In the same way, the armrests, the deep seats and the backrest were conceived with a well-defined purpose: to enhance the magnificence and sculptural fullness of the piece.
Self Control is a sofa with an eclectic soul built on a wooden frame, with multi-density polyurethane foam padding covered with 230 g tomana fabric and 6 mm velveteen lining on the body for maximum seating comfort.
