Artistic Wood/Marble Combination in Porada's Twenty-Four Collection

Patrick Jouin presents Oswood, the first piece of Porada's new Twenty-Four series, which will be launched at the Salone del Mobile 2024 (Milan - 16 to 21 April).

Oswood is an impressive table with a great personality that blends very different but natural materials. It sports geometric wooden details on the marble surface, thus revealing the natural beauty of Canaletto walnut.

In contrast to the previous Osmose series, Oswood inverts the use of materials, showing them in their most authentic form.

Oswood shares the same inspiration of the Osmose collection, but instead celebrates a luxurious and natural form of fusion featuring a marble top and wooden legs. Jouin explains that this inversion was designed to reflect nature, while highlighting the purity and grandeur of the materials, “the forest and the trees are represented, identified by the legs which are made from wood ...”.
