Inspired to combine the worlds of art and design, Roberto Lazzeroni designed the Etienne armchair for Baxter, which is based on the principles of minimalism and airiness.
Lines that are both soft and sinuous create a seat that is both comfortable and attractive and which formally suggests the sense of an embrace by its small and bundled appearance.
Cushions have rounded, encircling shapes that welcome and enfold their users. The back is extended by two folded side pieces that mimic the core structure's shape and curves. The basic structure is characterized by a finish in brass or satin metal, which gives it a sleeker appearance. Using a structure made of poplar and fir plywood, the seat and back cushions feature a density that varies with the weight placed upon them.
The double ornamental profile of the seam is the characteristic signature of this seat's upholstery, which may be tailored in a variety of various types of leather.
