At the side of customers
Beyond the product we create spaces
We are not just design retailers: we create custom environments, curated in every detail. From the idea to the project, we support customers.
Baxter armchairs tell a story deeply rooted in Italian craftsmanship. The company was founded through the vision of Luigi Bestetti and his nephew Paolo, who established the brand in Lurago d’Erba, in the heart of Brianza’s furniture-making district. In this area, where artisanal tradition is deeply ingrained, Baxter has found fertile ground to develop an identity in which outstanding materials and handcrafted processes coexist with an international design vision.
From the very beginning, the quality of leather has been one of the brand’s most distinctive elements. Leather sourced from historic Tuscan and Veneto tanneries is the true protagonist of the collections: a soft, durable material capable of acquiring character over time, processed using techniques that enhance its authentic nature. Baxter designer armchairs find their place in a wide variety of settings thanks to their versatility: they enrich living rooms, bedrooms, professional studios and entrance halls, improving both comfort and aesthetics. They are also ideal for hotels, lounges and prestigious offices, where they help create welcoming, functional environments with a refined design.
Baxter proposals respond to this balance by combining formal sophistication with meticulous attention to detail. The brand’s most renowned armchairs perfectly embody this philosophy.
The Dalma capitonné leather armchair by Draga & Aurel offers a bold yet refined elegance, inspired by the atmospheres of the 1960s. The Pillow armchair, born from the creative vision of Hannes Peer, stands out for its bold and elegant play of contrasts: a minimalist, high-tech metal frame supports an extra-large volume of soft leather cushions.
Among the most iconic models, the Artik armchair designed by Paola Navone, upholstered in soft Mongolian fur, presents a more ironic and enveloping aesthetic, ideal for visually warming environments such as mountain chalets or cosy living areas.
Each Baxter armchair is designed to combine aesthetics, comfort and functionality, adapting to different contexts thanks to the wide range of upholstery options, finishes and dimensions available. This versatility makes it possible to personalise the living space in a harmonious way that is consistent with individual style. Thanks to the support of the Bredaquaranta team of consultants and designers, you will have the opportunity to receive personalised assistance in choosing the armchair that best suits the style of your home.
