Calix Baxter

The concept behind the Calix coffee table for Baxter, is designed by Baxter P., is one that is totally unheard of. The coffee table assumes the role of protagonist in the living room, gaining the associations of an eternal and boundless object that can meet any requirement.

The top of the table is made of linden wood and has rounded corners. The black polished rubber shelf is large enough to hold magazines and other items, and its matt scratched appearance makes it easy to find things on the shelf. The different dimensions of the support legs, which feature an oval base section, give the coffee table's design its true originality.

By eschewing more complex formal style aspects in favor of a more universally approachable aesthetic, designer Baxter P. produces useful things that directly address the demands of the users.
