Paris Slim Baxter

The Paris slim bed, designed by Paola Navone for Baxter, is notable for its high level of genuine comfort, which is achieved through a careful balancing of form and function.

Iconic in their design are the substantial volumes and clearly defined shapes that make up this everyday accessory. The polyurethane foam padding, which varies in density, exemplifies the ease, and pleasure the piece of furniture aspires to express by enabling the user to avoid pressure points and enjoy greater overall relaxation. The headboard is made out of leather and supported by a steel frame. The slim bed's structure is made up of four layers of honeycomb fir and poplar.

The stitching is clearly apparent on the leather covers that can be removed from the slim bed frame and headboard.

The feet of the base are crafted of beech wood that has been stained in black.
