The exquisite and forward-thinking design of the Selene sideboard that was created for Baxter by designer Hagit Pincovici, has evolved into a creative masterpiece.
This piece of furniture has a bold and authentic appearance thanks to the use of brass, stone, and aluminium elements in its construction. Fibreboard and aluminium foil are used as the finishing materials for the upper shelf, which has a rectangular shape along one side end and a rounded shape along the opposite end. The top is supported by a linear, yet intricate, satin brass construction. Underneath each shape, a pair of brass-finished uprights run perpendicular to one another and serve as support.
The material's natural tendency to adapt to its surroundings by undergoing slight transformations over time should be celebrated as a mark of the item's genuineness and individuality.
