Betty Cattelan Italia

Created by the design Yasuhiro Shito for the brand Cattelan Italia, the Betty chair is a masterpiece of engineering and a work of very high aesthetic value. Besides the original base characterised by two curved steel elements, the supporting structure of Betty has a profile drawn by a single line, which makes a slight curve from the floor to the front part of the seat and forms seat and back.

A second peculiarity of Betty is the fact that it is entirely upholstered, with the exception of the base: the upholstery is wonderfully tight, which underlines the sinuous shapes of the chair.

The refined backrest of the chair tends to have a slightly smaller width towards its upper part.
