Scacco Cattelan Italia

The Scacco small table, created in the 1980s, is still one of the most important items of the Cattelan Italia production. It was designed by Philip Jackson and it is characterised by a solid parallelepiped base in white Carrara marble: this base is sculpted, in its upper part, with deep fissures that follow an orthogonal scheme.

The top of Scacco, with a square or rectangular shape, has all the transparency and brightness of crystal.

The small table is a symbol of an incisive style, which can charm any eye thanks to the materials that the designer chose to combine, and thanks to the incredible plasticity of the shape, created with fantasy from simple regular geometries.
