The Star Trek armchair and pouf, conceived in 1994 by Roberto Lazzeroni, draw inspiration from Franco Albini's "Tre Pezzi" armchair, creating an eloquent dialogue between Italian and Scandinavian design. The name, suggested by one of Lazzeroni's collaborators, reflects both homage and humor in the approach to Albini's reinterpretation.

Lazzeroni experiments with proportions, introducing bold variations in the backrest and unusual armrests. The playful and irreverent essence emerges in the fastening mechanism of the headrest, discreetly integrated between wood and brass, which also becomes a decorative element.

For an additional touch of sophistication, a shellac finish is available, imparting an elegant sheen.
