Krefeld Bench Knoll

The elegant Krefeld Bench, part of the Krefeld Collection, was originally conceived by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and his collaborator Lilly Reich to furnish the Ester and Lange residences, created by Mies in Krefeld. The bench, which was included in the Knoll production in 2003, reflects the unmistakable elegance of all Rohe’s work and it also reveals the designer’s love for more traditional furniture styles.

Krefeld Bench, initially meant to be exclusively upholstered in leather, is today also available in a large choice of fabrics. The bench exists in two sizes, medium and large.

The legs are in wood and are removable. The seat, with wood structure, features springs and a foam and dacron padding.
