The firmness of the volumes and the core geometry of the lines enable the Abseo table to be seen as an element of conversation and togetherness amongst the individuals who use different environments.
Antonio Citterio designed the Abseo table for the Maxalto line.
The table's distinguishing feature is the asymmetrical arrangement of the legs, which alternately follow the profile of the top, producing a dynamic and unique perspective. The top can be either square or rectangular, and it is crafted from Chilean wood using a particular folding technique. This technique includes joining the panels at 45° angles, and it has the advantage of guaranteeing that the wood grain is perfectly continuous throughout the entire piece.
The craftsmanship of superb cabinetmaking brings out the natural beauty of the wood and contributes to the classic piece's increased elegance and refinement.
