The Canvas Oil cushions were designed by Marcel Wanders studio for Moooi. The renowned Amsterdam-based studio's designers produced this line of magnificent pillows as a tribute to the sparkle and majesty of the Netherlands' heritage. Landscape and ornamental subjects from Amsterdam's library serve as the graphic's protagonists. The color red, which is featured throughout the Oil collection, was chosen as a nod to the centuries-long relationship that exists between the Netherlands and Japan.

The cushion covers are rectangular and upholstered in a Jacquard fabric; their dimensions are 60 cm in width and 40 cm in height. The liners can be obtained independently.

Canvas Oil cushions are offered in three different models: Cross, Mountain, and Red Stripe. These cushions are a synthesis of modernism and tradition.
