The nobleness of Chester Sofa by Poltrona Frau derives from an ancient and glorious history: the fascinating tufted sofa was designed by Renzo Frau, founder of the renowned Italian company, back in 1912. Inspired by models that were in vogue in England at the beginning of the XX Century, Renzo Frau created an authentic pearl which, even today, after more than one hundred years, cannot lose its everlasting charm.
Chester combines the comfort offered by a spring structure and by a horsehair and goose down padding with an impressive sculptural presence, particularly emphasized by the pleating along the armrests’ front surfaces.
The main structure of the elegant sofa is in wood, and its upholstery is exclusively in Pelle Frau® leather, symbol of Poltrona Frau quality.
