In the late 1980s, the Italian television commissioned Lella and Massimo Vignelli to design a set for the news broadcast, transitioning from half-length to full-length figures.

This is how the Intervista armchair was born, designed to offer guests the best possible comfort and posture without compromising their vocal tone.

The supporting structure of the Intervista armchair's shell and seat is made of steel coated in molded polyurethane. The upholstery of the Intervista armchair is in Pelle Frau leather.

There are two other variants: Intervista Twist, with a wider and more comfortable seat, featuring only one front wheel and one swiveling rear wheel. Intervista 360°, on the other hand, has a swiveling base that allows it to rotate independently.
