Bivaq was founded in 2003 in Barcelona by a young entrepreneur and a small team of designers. The objective was to create a collection of outdoor furnishings that would challenge classic style trends and still guarantee comfort and quality.

They broke the ice with the Unox Collection by Andrés Bluth, which opened the path for the brand’s upward climb in the world of design. Today, Bivaq designs, develops and produces contemporary outdoor furniture which emphasises the creative and innovative aspect.

Barcelona’s view of the Mediterranean panorama inspired the Teja collection. Wood, rope and metal unite to form chairs, sofas, coffee tables and stools that can decorate terraces, portico and gardens with warmth, comfort and calm. The collection’s distinctive detail is the hand-woven backrest in marine rope, guaranteed to resist every type of weather and the passing of time.

For a minimal and discreet outdoor environment, Andrés Bluth created the Illa collection, a welcoming line of furniture inspired by classic garden furniture. The structure stands out for the rounded rods that give it a fluid, understated look. Chairs and tables in different sizes can furnish every outdoor space with elegance and quality.

In more recent times, the company has started handling contract projects for the hospitality sector. It has become a part of the biggest projects thanks to its unique customisable design. Bisazza has stores in 15 countries around the world.
