Porro Premiere for Salone del Mobile 2022

For the upcoming Salone del Mobile 2022, Porro decided to underscore its core values: the awareness that a person’s life experience is profoundly influenced by the place where they live. The company’s creations were designed for placement in essential spaces that make most people think of an intimate microcosm, a hidden place where a person can dream, relax, and think deeply.

This is the context of Materic, an oval table designed by Piero Lissoni and first launched in 2017. The designer continues experimenting with new materials, along with those used for the popular first edition, and combining them with elementary geometries with an extra-light finish of Nordic inspiration. Another of Lissoni’s highly functional creations is the Boutique Mast system, which has an elegant graphic structure made of thin tubular metal rods in an iron finish with cantilever shelves in white cherry.
