Playful, Colourful Armchair: Square by Moroso

Moroso presents a piece from its 2022 collection: Square is a graceful armchair that derives its formal language from the basic square unit that makes up the warp and the weft of its structure.

The original project of this small armchair, designed by Jonathan Olivares, was made for the first time for the new Kvadrat showroom in New York City.

“Square Chair is an enlarged and abstract design conceived to be an object that can adapt to any room,” said Olivares.

It is perfect as an office chair, with its precise, necessary geometric shapes, but it can also furnish lounge spaces where conversations happen because it is comfortable and completely flexible.

Made from lightweight materials, it is easy to move when contract spaces need to be reorganized. Square makes it possible to work in a flexible and increasingly “smart” way.
