The post-modern eclectic style of the Dharma collection by Baxter Outdoor
At the Baxter Outdoor Gallery in Via Filippo Turati 2, Milan, visitors can admire the modern, eclectic collection called Dharma by STUDIOPEPE, which includes a table, a stool, a chaise longue, and a small armchair.
The entire Dharma collection was inspired by the concept of ornamentation that returns to the centre of interest in design, that 1970s style made of glamour, and translates it into sculptural pieces that are simultaneously resilient, solid, and dynamic.
All products have lacquered finishes and glossy highlights. They turn the an outdoor environment into an attractive, unequalled open-air gallery of sculptures.
The collection’s colour selection was borrowed from pop art paintings: classy, vibrant suggestions of orderly everyday life by David Hockney. This is how STUDIOPEPE avoids the usual interpretation of outdoor spaces that imitates nature. Instead, they have experimented with creating an imaginary pool party held by a sophisticated and fun-loving group of friends.
