Sculpture-lamps Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Flos

Luce Orizzontale is a bespoke pendant lamp made in glass with artisan processes by the designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for Flos. This lamp will surprise observers with unusual lighting effects. It’s perfect for both the residential and contract markets.

Luce Orizzontale is basically an artisan lamp: each cylindrical part is handmade. The glass is poured into a mould, and the different marks on the surface show the movements of the glassmaker during the pouring process. This horizontal pendant lamp by Flos is made of poured glass cylinders that are suspended and connected together. They hang on a polished aluminium bar, which supports the load of the lamp.

Two LED bars are installed in the centre of the lamp to produce the light and direct it in opposite directions: upwards and downwards.
