New Flos Lamps and Iconic Remakes
The new Flos lamps and reinterpretations of past collections were put on display at the exhibition of Euroluce 2023. A total of eleven new proposals for architecture, decoration and outdoor placement were presented, which include remakes of iconic lamps with new finishes and an evolution of iconic models.
Taccia, the famous lamp by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, was presented in a special edition with a matt white finish. In addition, Flos recovered the model 226/A by Gino Sarfatti, a wall lamp with an unusually long stem that looks like an ancient weapon.
Along with the classics, there are also many new creations by renowned contemporary designers. Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec created Cèramique and Emi, which demonstrate their excellent artisan skills and a mastery of the latest technology. Cèramique is a capsule collection of three table lamps with the body and diffuser in transparent ceramic. Emi is a compact lamp with a patented anti-glare optical unit. The base is in moulded steel and the stem and main body are in aluminium.
